Six reasons organisations work with Mossvale.
Each point reflects something specific about how we approach engagements — not a generic claim about quality.
Preparation-first facilitation
The design work happens before the session, not on the morning of it. Agenda, materials, and session flow are set before participants arrive.
Written output, every time
Each engagement closes with a document — a retreat summary, a framework sheet, or a decision log template — designed to be referenced after the session ends.
Fixed, transparent pricing
All three services have published fees. No open-ended day-rate billing. You know what the engagement costs before the work begins.
Based in Northern Thailand
Based in Chiang Mai and available to travel throughout Thailand. No international travel costs for organisations in the region.
Team-owned outcomes
The consultant holds the process, not the content. Your team makes the decisions. The output belongs to the organisation, not the facilitator.
Scoped, not open-ended
Engagements have a defined scope and a clear close. There is no dependency model where the consultant keeps returning to maintain something only they understand.
What each benefit means in practice.
Expertise in facilitation, not general consulting
Mossvale does not offer broad management advice or strategic audits. The focus is narrowly on facilitated working sessions — retreats, workshops, and structured conversations. This specificity means the experience is deeper rather than wider, and the result is a session that actually moves the group forward.
A structured process, adapted to your organisation
Each service follows a clear sequence — intake, design, delivery, documentation. Within that structure, the specifics are shaped by the client's team size, working style, and actual questions. The process gives consistency; the adaptation gives relevance.
A direct point of contact throughout
The same person who designs the engagement also facilitates it. There is no handoff between account management and delivery. The host organisation speaks with one consultant from first conversation to final document.
Fixed fees with clear scope
Retreat Planning & Facilitation is priced at ฿24,300. Goal-Setting Workshop at ฿6,800. Decision Log Setup at ฿14,800. Each fee covers the full engagement — preparation, delivery, and written output. Travel within Thailand is the only additional cost for on-site engagements outside Chiang Mai.
Outcomes that persist after the session
Each engagement is designed so the output — a decision, a framework, a log structure — has value beyond the day itself. The test of a good working session is whether it still shapes behaviour six months later. Mossvale designs toward that standard.
How Mossvale differs from typical consulting approaches.
TYPICAL APPROACH
- Agenda prepared the night before or on the morning of the session
- Standard template applied regardless of the group's actual situation
- Day-rate billing with scope that expands over time
- Outputs live in slide decks that nobody returns to
- Account manager sells, different person delivers
- Engagement creates dependency rather than capability
THE MOSSVALE APPROACH
- Agenda and materials designed in the weeks before the session
- Session flow shaped around this specific group and their actual questions
- Fixed fee, agreed before work begins, no hidden additions
- Written document delivered after every engagement — not slides
- One consultant from intake conversation through to final delivery
- Clear close to each engagement; the organisation owns everything at the end
What you won't find elsewhere.
Pre-engagement interviews included
For the retreat and decision log services, the fee includes time for structured conversations before the engagement begins — to understand the actual state of the team, not just the brief they wrote.
Post-engagement summary within three business days
The retreat summary — capturing decisions, open questions, and follow-up actions — is delivered within three business days of the session while the content is still fresh.
Goal-setting frameworks the team builds themselves
The workshop does not deliver a pre-written framework. The team works through structured exercises and the framework reflects their own decisions — which means they are more likely to actually use it.
Decision logs designed for low-friction maintenance
The log structure is designed around the organisation's actual working pace — not an ideal system that nobody has time to maintain. Simple enough to keep up, detailed enough to be useful later.
Some markers along the way.

An initial conversation takes about 30 minutes and is enough to assess whether an engagement would be useful.
